Amethyst Legacy Ch. 2

Annnnddd we're back! Welcome back to Chapter 2 of the Amethyst Legacy. Last time we left off, Robin here, was looking for a man. Unfortunately, she couldn't find a single man in Pleasant View. (What's up with that EA?)
As Robin continued her search she stumbled upon this boy here. (I'm sorry about the walls!! I took this after I learned not to photograph them!) Focus on the man! ;)
When Robin confronted him, well he was taken.

So was he. Seriously EA? Where is the fairness to sims who don't want to be home-wreckers!?

Even this guy was taken. Poor Robin, it seemed she would never find a man.

Depressed and unsure about her life she wandered into a nearby house and just...well sat on the stranger's couch and sighed. Maybe the only way to make a family in Pleasant View was tear apart another family. (Thanks EA) Thoughts of the first man she'd met drifted in and out of her mind. He'd had a fiance and she'd made it quite clear to leave her boy toy alone, but what if? Slowly, Robin picked up the phone and called him.

They met at the beach, smiling. He seemed nice enough. He laughed at her fire jokes. They were lame and she knew it. Yet, when she flirted he merely shrugged and went along as if she was just someone to pass the time. That's when Robin realized she didn't want a man who didn't care about the commitment he'd already made to another woman.

She bit her lip and said, "Goodbye."

Once again our little Robin retreated to the bar. This was not how she thought being a founder would go. As a family-oriented sim (yup that's the trait I forgot in ch. 1) she felt she should be married with kids by now and yet here she was alone and just a tiny bit tipsy.

With some urging on my part I had Robin visit the Roomies household. Lo-and-behold, this along with one of his roommates is the ONLY single sim in Pleasant View. (At least from my extensive search) I merely wanted to check on the sims I'd placed in this house (Yes, I wanted to pretty up the neighborhood with custom made sims)
Robin was DETERMINED not to let this bad boy, Stiles, get away. Of course, he could do with a teensy makeover.

Seizing her moment, Robin asked him out on a date...and because neither of them could get into the club they spent their date in the club parking lot talking about the weather. Real winner here, eh guys?

Later that night they moved on to the beach. Things seemed to be moving quite well...

as they sealed the night with a kiss as boyfriend and girlfriend.

(Isn't he just adorable in that suit?)

The following day Robin invited Stiles over for a visit. Finally, moving along in the journalism career Robin was able to afford a roof. Yes, it's shack-like, but at least no more paparazzi can take her photo while she sleeps.

Here's an inside look :)

The two love birds couldn't get enough of one another. Spending plenty of time gazing into one another's eyes. Feeling Stile's hands in hers Robin couldn't help the happiness that filled her. Finally, there was someone for her. Someone to share her life with.

She didn't want to waste another second. Robin popped the question. Stiles said yes, of course.

He really loves that ring...
Not wanting to waste anymore time they exchanged vows right there on that beach.

It was a small affair but that's what the couple wanted. They couldn't wait any longer.

Finally, they were man and wife. For the first time Robin had someone who cherished her.

Find out next time on the Amethyst Legacy if married life is quite like Robin imagined.

Please comment! :)
