The Amethyst Legacy Ch. 6

Welcome back! Last time we left off Topaz was a teenager and wooing his first girlfriend, Onyx aged into a child, Stiles died, Alexandrite aged quite nicely and promised to help his mother in any way he could and in turn finally forgiving her.
On this special day Alexandrite took a stroll to the local park to find himself a girl.
Oh boy ever since aging he thinks he's slick stuff...
But it seems his father's death still lingered at the back of his mind.
 And Robin's.
Even Onyx couldn't seem to shake it--(He's chattin' up Topaz's girlfriend's little sis btw)

Even our in-house badass, Topaz, was at a loss.

Wow, he does have a soft side.

But there was some joyous new to help some forget Stile's death.

 I'm a little nervous
 Yeck. Makeover

Onyx Amethyst. What do you think? I think the fugly genes only went to Alexandrite..what's up with that? Poor boy (of course he's not too bad off now)

Meanwhile at the beach Topaz and Patricia were hard at work building up there logic skill, yet neither had the traits for it. By the way Topaz loves the outdoors while Patricia hates it. I think that's why she's scowling.
Following his newfound teenagerdom Onyx explored the catacombs...

While Robin's artistic skills have definitely been increasing.
Later that night, Alexandrite did some stalking. This is Claire Ursine's daughter Alyssa.

At first she seemed standoffish and in fact annoyed with our leading man. Alexandrite learned she was mean spirited, but the boy would not give up.

By dawn they were holdin' hands. (which is pretty slow for sim time ;))

Soon Alexandrite brought her home to meet the folks and for a makeover.

Not bad for Claire Ursine's daughter, eh?

Alexandrite seemed quite taken with her. He smiled. Even in her aloof way Alyssa seemed taken with him. Alexandrite grinned. Someone actually had an interest in him.

Sure she wasn't Susie Sunshine but she did like him.
Heck, she was the first girl he'd met who was partial to walking around in her lingerie.
Such model-esq features, Alexandrite thought. She's beautiful.
And then, he kissed her.  He was not about to let this woman go. No way.

And so he got down on one knee.
Finally a smile from the mean spirited girl!

They wasted no time in celebrating.

"That was AWESOME," Alexandrite practically yelled. Alyssa tried to smile, but it didn't come. What had she gotten herself into? Marriage...could she really go through with it?
Quickly, she jumped out of bed, threw on her clothes, and ran. She needed to clear her head.
Is that regret on her features?
And while dear Alyssa ran by our lovely residence bad boy was obsessing over the sprinkler...yet again.

The following day Onyx dressed up. Any guesses what would require such an outfit?
His ensemble couldn't be complete without wedding decor

And a puking bride.

Alyssa stared at herself in the mirror. Questions flitted in and out of her mind. "What am I doing? Can I really go through with this? He doesn't know who I really am." Nausea overtook her and she had to hold onto the wall to keep from falling.

Topaz sat down before any of the other guests. He stared at the beautiful arrangement before him. For the briefest instant Patricia's face flickered across his eyes. A small smile crept onto his lips. One day, he would be standing on that alter. With her.

Alyssa strode to the alter. "Alexandrite, there's something I have to say."

Alexandrite stared down at the ground.
He turned to look at her. "Let me say something first."
"I love you. I really love you. You're the first woman to take me seriously, to make me happy."
"But, I'm not who you think I am," Alyssa murmured.
"It doesn't matter to me. I'll take you however you are."
She blinked back at him. She'd never heard those words before. She sucked in a breath and finally said what was on her mind. "I'm evil."
 "Um, come again?"
s
She smiled. "I like taking candy from babies, I like other people's misfortune, and I especially like ghosts, not sure why though."
Alexandrite couldn't help it. He smiled. "I don't care. Now, would you marry me?"
 "Really?" Alyssa asked.
"Yes, really," he replied, placing her wedding ring on her finger.

Alexandrite leaned in close and whispered, "You've made me the happiest man alive."

Thanks for reading chapter six! Find out next time whether or not those really were nerves or if Alyssa and Alexandrite have quite a bit more to celebrate. Until next time! Please comment <3

The Amethyst Legacy Ch. 5 Into My Heart You Go

Welcome  back to the Amethyst Legacy, lovelies. As you can see the Amethyst family home has gotten a nice upgrade (thank you boyfriend of mine!) When we left off last time Alexandrite was hard at work to beat out his adorable brothers to become heir, while Topaz and Onyx had aged.
Topaz wasted no time. He hit the beach and bumped into Patricia Craig.
"Oh, scuse' me," she murmured, walking past. Then she stopped. "Sorry, but do you know where the bistro  is?"
Topaz was more than willing to help Patricia out.

I do believe it was her smile that did it for him. He smirked back at her, pulling out the charm. Patricia didn't seem to mind.

She never made it to the bistro. In fact with Topaz's persuasive charm he managed to bring her home.

Patricia looked away, shyness overtaking her. Topaz grinned. "I think she likes me," he thought. "Maybe, just maybe..."

He leaned in close...

But she pushed him away. "I'm sorry, but I just met you."

Poor boy, rejected for his very first kiss, but still gotta give the girl props. She's not the usual easy sim no siree bob. Topaz bit his lip. Maybe he really was a loser. As if being shoved into lockers wasn't bad enough. He sighed and watched her walk away.

The rejection stung, but Stile's found a way to cheer up his son. Topaz couldn't help but join his father. The music was infectious.

Even Robin shook her groove thang! *Shake your groove thing. Shake your groove thing. Ya ya ya*

(Totally thinking of Disney's An Extremely Goofy Movie disco scene...)
After the lovely shaking of the butt-ox, it was time for Robin to transition into an elder.

"What are these strange sparkles surrounding me?" Robin wondered. "So shiny!"

Warning--if you've never seen a barbie don't look at the next picture.

Mother F@#@3R!

Topaz is officially scarred for life (stupid glitchy CC)

While I forced Robin to run to the dresser ASAP Onyx was back at the cake ready to age up.
He sat there clapping his little hands. "Cake, cake!" he cried happily.
 Go-go boots activate! "CAKE!"

Here is our lovely little boy :)
Another bathroom has been added and two more bedrooms for Topaz (red carpet) and Alexandrite (Blue)

A makeover later and Patricia seemed much more enthused about seeing Topaz again. Topaz stared at her as she walked through the door. She was beautiful, her hair falling in waves. A soft smile twitched at the corners of her lips as she met his eyes. This time he couldn't mess up. He couldn't lose his chance with someone so beautiful, with someone who made him feel this way. He would not be a loser, not today.

This time Topaz had a plan. A few sweet words...
 Perhaps just a hug.
 Or two.
He whispered a question into her ear and smiled.
Warmness surged into his chest as their lips met.

"Be mine?" he whispered.

She didn't hesitate. "Yes."

As they embraced Alexandrite rounded the corner. He stared at the two. Why did everything come so easily to his brother? A beautiful girl? The affection of their parents? What was so wrong with him?

Oh Alexandrite please don't fret. This sad face makes me quite unhappy. :( Even his new look didn't seem to help. Aw I really do care about his happiness.

The very next day Stiles played for tips in the park (as per my boyfriend's instructions...more money meant more building time for him) while Alexandrite wandered the park.

This woman caught his eye. Daughter of one of the Frio brothers and Clair Ursine. She seemed uninterested, but for a fleeting moment I do believe she smiled at him.
Ahem, Paiden Heart, of Fury Red's Heart Legacy, decided to stop on by. :) How pretty is she?

My lovely sim readers, I do have some bad news for you guys.

Well not quite yet. ;)

Finally, after the kitchen was put out it was Alexandrite's turn to be in the spotlight. This is my day, he thought with a smile.
Too bad Stiles had other plans. Poor Alexandrite can never seem to win.

Alexandrite stood there excited for his transition into adulthood, but unbeknownst to him his father was dying in the bathroom behind him and no one seemed to notice he was aging.

Anger boiled in him as lights sparkled and flitted around him. What did it matter anyway? If no one cared about him, he wouldn't care about them.

Look up please...
Alexandrite could feel a change. Something was different.
With a quick fix at the mirror he felt even better. I do believe the ugly duck has grown into those strong cheek bones of his...

Stiles left with a wrinkled smile and somehow he was at peace.
Losing the only man she'd ever been with, Robin felt the pain like no other. It pierced through her. "Why now?" she moaned. Her heart felt like it was breaking little by little. "What am I going to do? Onyx is just a boy," she whispered as the tears stained her cheeks.

Alexandrite heard her cries, but for once he didn't care. No one had cared about him, always favoring his brothers. Why should he care about them? He stormed out the door and into the night.

With his newfound looks in tow Alexandrite decided to hit up the local dive bar where he ran into this hot mama. His direct line of sight says one thing. "Boobs?"
With some urging from the inner voice in his head (me) Alexandrite awkwardly tried to dance with the opposite sex.

Apparently sweaty palms don't scare this girl.
Step one two three. One two three.
Alexandrite tried to focus on dancing. He'd finally aged up, girls were taking an interested in him, and yet, there was still something bothering him. Even though his father's death merely proved that the universe was out to take his spotlight he realized his anger was uncalled for. The thought of his poor mother crying in the bathroom and his father's untimely departure from this world were too much.

Alexandrite broke down into tears. Warm arms wrapped around him as he whimpered. He knew what he had to do. His mother needed him, now more than ever. He ran.

Out of breath and full of a desire to forgive his parents Alexandrite ran through the door and gripped his mother by the arms. "I'm sorry, Mom. I'm so sorry." Robin fought the tears as she stared at her oldest son.
"So am I," she whispered.
Alexandrite sucked in a breath. "I'll help you. I won't leave you or Topaz and Onyx like this. I'll help however I can..."

Stiles, he was always meant to be hers.

Thank you for reading. Find out next time how the Amethyst family copes with their loss and if its true what they say,"Life is always greener on the other side".
