The Amethyst Legacy Ch. 7 Bliss and a Tragedy

 Welcome back to the Amethyst Legacy! Last time Alexandrite and Alyssa finally tied the knot. Lately, Alyssa has proved to be quite handy around the house.

 Well, usually.


Of course, Alexandrite couldn't wait to pounce on his new wife. I swear I've never seen him make that face.


Poor boy would have to wait. Ya know, no poking of the baby. :)


Instead Alyssa entertained herself by playing the base. She's a virtuoso don'tcha know


Alexandrite stared on in his boxers thinking about what they could have been doing in the bedroom instead.


Soon it was Topaz's birthday! Finally, he would embark into young adulthood. May I mention I love him?

Ya ready?

Not bad.

A couple of fun tats completed the look. ;)

Shortly after, Topaz invited over his girlfriend, Patricia. I think he was hoping for some hanky panky, but she was still a teen.

Meanwhile Alyssa went into labor! Alright now this is a first for me. I have never made it to generation 3 past the toddler stage. :) Ready? Another boy or perhaps a girl?

 Please welcome Peridot Amethyst :) Born with the clumsy and absent-minded traits. (Ignore the random CC sticking out of her)

 Peridot was a welcome addition to the family and even our boy Topaz took an interest in her. May I also add there may be an issue with him becoming heir. Topaz rolled the dislikes children trait.

 Alexandrite could not get enough of his daughter :)

 Spoiling her rotten just as his father did to his children.

 Alyssa's evil trail was finally showing itself.. although her symptoms seemed more insane than evil

 Woah, there's a bathtub there.

 Of course, as wonderful a mother as a Alyssa was she couldn't help some of more fiendish urges.

 Shame on her! Stealing candy from her OWN baby!

 The following day it was Peridot's birthday

 Here's our girl! I'll admit I am a little worried she'll be plagued by her father's same childhood looks. She has a slightly large chin, but other than that, she's quite cute!

Patricia finally aged into a stunning young adult!

And Topaz wasted no time in spending time with his leading lady :)

In the side yard our lovely founder was enjoying the sprinkler.

Aww love Robin :)

On another note, our Alexandrite has been bulking up at the gym. *Sigh okay, he's totally won his way into my heart now.

He even proved to be quite a wonderful father, teaching Peridot to walk.

Meanwhile, an unexpected visitor stood outside the door.

Stupid repolady...

Scared Topaz out of a seemingly peaceful sleep as well.

Later that night Topaz found his way to a small waterfall and called Patricia. He had a surprise for her...

His palms were sweating and his mouth felt dry. She seemed to peer right through him. As he opened his mouth to speak. She walked away--I mean she literally ran away the moment she arrived.

 He ended up having to call her again. Then she left again, finally he got her to the beach.

 Where she seemed much happier.

 He got a few hugs in before she took off again. *sigh* is she playing hard to get now?

 Meanwhile, back at home, Robin had a surprise visitor.

 Stiles couldn't help but watch his once wife from behind the potted plant.

 Nervously, he asked about his granddaughter and watched the toddler throughout the night.

 And even met his son's wife, Alyssa, as he did so.

 Soon it was birthday time again in the Amethyst household. I'm not quite sure that was the appropriate outfit for her daughters birthday though....

 Father and grandmother stood by quite excitedly.

 
And here is Peridot. Interesting chin. Now, I think I should inform you that I'm not sure who to choose as heir so I've kind of chosen both Topaz and Alexandrite and its up to their children to win the heir race.  Thing is Alexandrite's daughter is well iffie...and Topaz can't even get Patricia to stay with him for more than a few sim minutes before she bails. I'm really not sure who's winning this race folks.

 Speaking of Patricia, Topaz was able to lure her to their home where Peridot and her had a stare off o.0

 Of course, he lured her to more than just the house. ;)

 Now, right after Patricia began strutting out...

 I do believe the girl is quite proud of herself.

Real proud. 

 As if that wasn't enough, the couple went at it again.


And again! Horn dogs, I tell ya!


Quite happy with themselves too.

 Meanwhile, Peridot got a makeover and some blue contacts!

 And our boy Onyx was not liking his sister in law.

 At all.

 Life in the household passed normally. Peridot studied.

 And chatted with her dad who by the way is a doctor

Not all doctors prescribe icky medicine, Peridot.

 While Topaz visited his girlfriend at her place

Even Onyx took a liking to Patricia's sister, Eliza.

 I think Patricia is prettier. :)

 Of course Patricia always kept Topaz on his toes. He never knew when she might snap at him, but still he loved her.

And so Topaz made his decision.


"Marry me?" he asked.


He placed the ring on her finger and then the thought occurred to Topaz. He didn't want to wait.



They exchanged rings becoming man and wife.

 Following that joyous event came Onyx's birthday!

Not bad.

 After a quick makeover it was time for him to start his own life. I hope story progression can treat him better than I can.

 

But during Onyx's birthday an unexpected visitor had arrived.

I didn't even get to see her go.

 Only the daughter-in-laws were present.

 Patricia seemed more distraught then Alyssa, even though she'd only met Robin say 4 times while Alyssa had lived with her. Evil sims I guess.

 Of course, Alyssa had her own idea of grieving.


Haha! She did this of her own free will!

Here lies Robin Amethyst our loving founder :) Beside the man she was always meant to be with.

 Even after Robin's death the family suffered but they went on with their daily routine. Even Alyssa tried cheering everyone up with her guitar playing.

 Unfortunately, tragedy would strike once more.

 The flames surged higher and higher. The smoke becoming suffocating.

 Stiles joined, as if he'd known what would happen.

It spread and there was nothing even I could do as it engulfed the kitchen. 

 I was able to click it off and  get them all to safety and then on the other side of the house....

 Alexandrite could feel the burn, singing his skin. The smoke in his lungs burned.

 And then there was nothing left.

 He awoke, huddled on the ground, the burn finally gone, but a constant heat flowed through him and he stared up into the eyes of death.
